I'm standing waiting for him to catch up so I can tell him I there to simply pick up our order. The owner is trying to handle everyone but is clearly overwhelmed and in desperate need of help. Arrive 35 minutes later and the place is crowded. So we ordered two simple items off the menu and were told 30 minutes. They make sure to make as little communication with the customer as possible. The man who took the order and made the food was not friendly at all, but Chinese restaurants rarely are. I never use soy sauce, but we needed salt so we used that. They were glued together! There was no flavor at all and a lot of grease. I had never seen lo mein noodles all clump together so you can take a bite like a cake. When I went to look at the lo mein, I was mortified. That's fine, just what I was expecting and at least that is hand friendly. We start with the egg rolls and it's pure grease with no flavor. We purchased 2 vegetable egg rolls and a vegetable lo mein which apparently does NOT include eating equipment. We're in a hotel.with a diner next door, they probably have everything. What is missing you ask? Chopsticks or a fork or any kind of utensil that I can use to eat this terrible food. When we got back to the hotel, we opened the bag to discover the food, 2 packets of duck sauce, 2 packets of soy sauce, 2 packets of the other stuff, and 2 fortune cookies. we just wanted to take back something to eat in the hotel room. This was our first time in Saugerties and since we had eaten a late lunch. I never expect anything good, but this time takes the prize. This is the worst Chinese food I have ever had, and there aren't that many good places out there.
